It’s that time of year again, when new members get together and take on a project of their own.
All and any project ideas are welcome where previous years say, the project took the
form of a BBQ and tag charity event and a charity race night. All ideas welcome. if you are interested in forming the committee and getting involved then please contact Roy at membership @jci-galway.org.

JCI Limerick Annual Charity Cruise – Friday, 10th July.
This year the JCI Limerick annual charity cruise departs from Killaloe to Gerrykennedy on
Friday 10th July.
JCI Galway recently launched the JCI Galway City & County Tourist Guide, 2009. - One of the most incisive guides to date and with everything going on in Galway and it's environs, it is THE essential guide when visiting Galway. The guide is free to pick up at local pubs and shops and is a totally voluntary project with no members receiving any gratuities. The Galway Guide is JCI Galways way of helping visitors and tourists alike to enjoy Galway for all its benefits. Copies will shortly be distributed both countrywide and internationally.

Thanks to all who attended our recent JCI Ireland National Convention, which this year was held at the Harbour Hotel in Galway City.
All in all a great weekend of debating, training, sight-seeing and story telling was had, and kept us all informed of what JCI members were doing around the country. It was great to see so many fellow JCI members attending and updates regarding Spring Conference will be available shortly.

GALWAY CHAMBER PRESIDENT'S DINNER & BUSINESS AWARDS 2009

JCI Galway were nominated for a major award. Alas it was not to be. However, onwards and upwards were the order of the evening as JCI Galway drew great praise from Galway Chamber CEO Michael Coyle in relation to JCI Galway's participation in the professional, voluntary and promotional capacity which exudes from JCI Galway members, year on year and especially in relation to the Galway Tourist Guide.
