Olga Majzoub-JCI International Graduate
and Head Trainer for JCI Presenter will give this training.
Olga is a member of JCI Lebanon and has had a very successful career with JCI to date. She is a graduate of the American University of Beirut holding a BE in Computer and Communications Engineering (CCE 1999) and an MBA (2005) in Management and human resources.
Olga had trained in the Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia and India. Olga has a great interest in training and received JCI Lebanon's best Trainer Award for 2008.
Olga will give an insightful talk into the work of JCI Lebanon, and her training will focus on Body Language.
Bodies speak louder than words! Moreover bodies always say the truth.
If you want to know what bodies say, you need to learn their language. This fun and entertaining course covers the basics of body language.

DEBATING and PUBLIC SPEAKING
Trainer: Stephen Murray
Learn how to Speak in Public and Debate with Stephen.
Public Speaking and Debating is the only regular international competitive team activity in JCI - but even if you don't want to take part in a competition, both skills are tremendously handy to have. Build confidence with eloquence and have fun at the same time! Don't forget that the national competition is only a few weeks away (April 11th) and it would be great if Galway won some trophies again.

Educogym Training Event,
Tuesday, 27th October.
Do you want to find out why people are getting more out of shape than ever before?
Is it possible to eat normal food and not starve getting in to shape?
A girl called Tara McFadden will give a talk on what educogym has to offer. Tara says with a proven system and proven results it is a win win situation for all.
Come to this month’s training in the Marriot Hotel on Tuesday 27th October to find out more.
With Christmas almost upon us maybe it is a good time to be thinking about getting in shape.

What with the Galway Races over it’s time to start planning for the Autumn.
Training for September will be on Time Management - (I know I wouldn’t mind getting a few tips myself!)
In May we had a talk on the Alexander Technique – very informative and interesting bearing in mind we all know someone that suffers from back pain.
Last month a very enjoyable evening was had for all with an evening of Pitch and Putt.

To date there has been a sales training and wine tasting night.
There has also been a night of cookery and public speaking/debating,
indeed there are many and numerous events happening in JCI Galway which appeal to all.

At present we are hosting the JCI Ireland, Spring Conference in Galway and it is taking place 17-19th April 2009 in the Harbour Hotel.
It will be a fun filled weekend with drama, public speaking and debating – not to mention getting to sample what the beautiful City of Galway has to offer.
So, why not come along and support this National JCI event.
Everyone is welcome to attend!!
The European Spring Conference is taking place in Budapest from 10 – 14th June. There will be plenty of training opportunities and of course themed party nights each evening. Registration is now €379.
Flights can be booked with Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Malev Airlines. (10% discount with Malev Airlines for JCI members). Accomodation in hotel Ibis Emke works out at €43 per person sharing including breakfast.
